Criteria for 1st Year Admission form for in Honours Courses:
- The candidate must have passed in English having full marks not less than 100.
- (i) A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in top four subjects (excluding Compulsory Environmental education / studies) and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination. But if “Environmental Science” studied as an elective subject of 100 marks, may be taken into account for the purpose of determining the aggregate marks.
Or
(ii) 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.
Or
(iii) 50% marks in aggregate in top four subjects (excluding Compulsory Environmental education / studies) when the candidate has not studies the subject in his / her previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied.
Note : However Candidates belonging to the Schedule Cast or Schedule Tribe community taking up Honours Course of study must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate in top four subjects (excluding Compulsory Environmental education / studies) or 40% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examinations, as the case may be.
